Compressing files is very useful when it comes to sharing large data through the Internet, and also to send and receive multiple documents and applications into one single package. This little and free utility allows you to compress data into the .zip format in an easy manner. You only need to select the files you want to compress and drag-and-drop them into the 'Files to zip' box. You can give a name to your compressed file and select the output folder. An interesting feature is the possibility of creating executable files; that is files that can uncompress automatically without needing to use any decompressing program.
You can customize several of the program's features. For example, you can choose the default compression rate to be used, as well as the interface's language. You can choose between English (default) or other five languages, such as Polish, Spanish and more. Also, you can add a message box to your executables and specify if you want a program to activate once the .exe file has decompressed other files (for example, if they are MS Word documents, you can add "word.exe" to the file's parameters to open Word when decompressing the documents).
The program can create .zip files, but it cannot open them. Nevertheless, it compensates this lack with the .exe files creation.
